We trust this message finds you well. We are grateful for your ongoing interest and support for Three Trees Ministries. We want to share with you the significant impact you can make in the lives of children facing challenging circumstances.

As you know, the focus of our ministry here on the Haitian/Dominican Border is providing essential shelter, care, and support to children and teenagers who have left or been removed from their homes and, consequently, find themselves in vulnerable situations.

For the past 8 years, we have rented a home, but the owner is indicating that she will want her home back as her plans are changing. We need to identify a new place to live within the first quarter of 2024. For permanency and security for our children and our ministry, we want to purchase a home.

Additionally, with the instability and increasing violence in Haiti, we are seeing more and more pre-teen and teen boys trying to make their way across the border. We desire to intervene in their lives before they find themselves in even more vulnerable situations.

Our 2023 end-of-year goal is to raise $250,000, and we've already secured 75% of that target through generous donations, monthly recurring gifts, and annual pledges. We need an additional $62,500 to meet our financial goals.

These funds will be instrumental in purchasing a permanent home, providing for the daily needs of the children in our care, and establishing an office on the Haitian side of the border to assist children affected by the ongoing crisis.

Our primary goals include:

• Purchasing a permanent home for our mission.

• Meeting the daily needs of the 12 children in our care in Jimaní, 3 - 6 boys in our temporary shelter at any given time, 3 girls in independent living, and 7 teens in Haiti.

• Supporting our temporary shelter in Jimaní.

• Establishing an office on the Haitian side of the border to better assist children affected by violence and insecurity while also providing employment opportunities for the local community.
